Japanese Fan Layout.

Good Day Friends,

I’m happy to be back with first post of this month. For today’s post I have made a Japanese fan layout. I really liked the way it turned out. I have used vintage mélange paper pack and a center quote cut from dazzling queen paper pack. Here are few pictures of the project.

Shadow box.

Good Day all,

Hope you all are doing great. I’m back with my next DT post. All the beauty of life is made up of light and shadow, and a beautiful shadow box makes a perfect wall hanging. I have created a simple shadow box using Celebration Time paper pack.

I chose heart shape as a base. Took 5 6”*6” pp and cut simple leaf patterns on each. Layered them one over the other with cardboard strips as separator. Covered the sides with black card stock and stuck pp strips over them. Stuck few flowers, half pearls and sentiments.

Here are few pictures of the project.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a great weekend.
Happy crafting.

Mixed media layout with tutorial.

Good Day!

Hope you all had a great memorable diwali. Today I’m back with my Nakshathra Designz DT post which is a tutorial post. I have created a photo layout using Sparking Diwali and Celebration Time pp. The bright colours of these papers makes the layout stand out beautifully. This is how I created it.

1. Took black cardstock and cut it to the size of the photo I’m gonna add. Layered it with distressed strips of paper from the pps.

2. Selected a pp from Sparkling Diwali pack and created background using alcohol ink.

3. Stamped and stenciled few patterns randomly on the background.

4.  Made a layout using tags and paper strips cut from Celebration Time pp.

5. Added micro beads randomly and stuck the photo in the photo space.

Here are few close up picture of the layout.

Have a great day.
