Japanese Fan Layout.

Good Day Friends,

I’m happy to be back with first post of this month. For today’s post I have made a Japanese fan layout. I really liked the way it turned out. I have used vintage mélange paper pack and a center quote cut from dazzling queen paper pack. Here are few pictures of the project.

Shadow box.

Good Day all,

Hope you all are doing great. I’m back with my next DT post. All the beauty of life is made up of light and shadow, and a beautiful shadow box makes a perfect wall hanging. I have created a simple shadow box using Celebration Time paper pack.

I chose heart shape as a base. Took 5 6”*6” pp and cut simple leaf patterns on each. Layered them one over the other with cardboard strips as separator. Covered the sides with black card stock and stuck pp strips over them. Stuck few flowers, half pearls and sentiments.

Here are few pictures of the project.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a great weekend.
Happy crafting.

Mixed media layout with tutorial.

Good Day!

Hope you all had a great memorable diwali. Today I’m back with my Nakshathra Designz DT post which is a tutorial post. I have created a photo layout using Sparking Diwali and Celebration Time pp. The bright colours of these papers makes the layout stand out beautifully. This is how I created it.

1. Took black cardstock and cut it to the size of the photo I’m gonna add. Layered it with distressed strips of paper from the pps.

2. Selected a pp from Sparkling Diwali pack and created background using alcohol ink.

3. Stamped and stenciled few patterns randomly on the background.

4.  Made a layout using tags and paper strips cut from Celebration Time pp.

5. Added micro beads randomly and stuck the photo in the photo space.

Here are few close up picture of the layout.

Have a great day.
Happy crafting!

Good Day Everyone!

I’m really happy and excited to announce that I'm part of Nakshathra Desingz paper pack's DT member.
My first project for this month and I decided to keep it simple and beautiful. I have altered a bottle using Sparking Diwali pp. Here is some of the pics of the same.

This is how I made it, Painted the complete bottle using black gesso. Cut the pp and stuck it over the bottle. Applied acrylic gold over the exposed black areas using sponge. Finally added embellishments and flower.

Hope you all liked it. May the glow of joy, prosperity and happiness illuminate your days.
Happy diwali!!
Happy Crafting!

PRIYA.

Layout#2

Hello All,
Hope you all are doing great. I’m here with a tutorial post of a simple layout made using nakshthra desingz scintillating mandalas.
This is one of my favourite paper packs, the pattern itself is so beautiful that simple usage of the paper can make any project adorable.
For making the layout i chose the multi colour paper from the pack and textured it using stencil and texture paste.

Then coloured the textured portion using purple water colour and sprinkled black and white colour in the same area.

Using die cut of a frame base for the photo and few floral cut outs

 .

Then decided the layout arrangement and stuck everything accordingly. Finally added glitter using 3D outliner and stuck few sequins.

Flag album

Good Day Everyone!
I wanted to do an album for today’s post. It’s a travel theme mini flag album. I have used vintage mélange and Amor De Oro Golden Love paper pack of Nakshathra Desingz. I have designed it with 12 flaps and 12 tags. It can hold 48 photos.
Here are few pictures of the flag album.

Thank you.

Priya Mukund.
